Summer camp for adults (with an open bar!).
We loved our UnCruise on Wilderness Discoverer in Juneau. Capt. Keith & all the crew were awesome. The focus on the environment, animals, plants, & activities to put us in touch with the beauty of Alaska were the highlight. One of us is super athletic & one of us not so much but UnCruise worked for both of us. Our cabin was cozy with plenty of space to stow our belongings. The trip was like summer camp for grown-ups with an open bar. We met really interesting people of various ages & the ship felt like a little community with the other passengers & crew
The most spectacular way to see the Hawaiian Islands.
Since it is a 36-passenger boat, the crew is very adaptive to the best interests of the guests. The guides and crew were friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. They were like a Google search bar for anything ocean or land-related (for real). The staff was a joy to be around throughout the week. They kept us well-fed with 3 delicious meals every day. I enjoyed many wonderful meals with all the great people UnCruise attracts. I could not have imagined a better week on board. Thank you UnCruise!

I want to congratulate UnCruise for their outstanding customer service. Coming from the other side of the world, we had several questions, and Sydney was prompt, clear, and incredibly helpful each time. When our chosen cruise was fully booked, Sydney provided great alternatives, and even when we had questions about activities in Juneau, the responses were thoughtful and well-judged. The consistent kindness and helpfulness in every email, handled by the same person, made the process seamless. This exceptional service has left a wonderful impression, and we’re very excited for our upcoming adventure.

Extraordinary way to explore the Last Frontier.
Once you have been on an UnCruise, you immediately want to go on another! The beauty of the sea, land, and wildlife, the attentiveness of the crew, and the connections made with other guests combine to call you back for more. One of our fellow cruisers was on his 7th UnCruise Adventure! And my son had such an incredible experience and made such sweet friendships, he cried for two hours after leaving the ship. Both my kids speak daily of fond memories of our time in Alaska. To date, this is one of our favorite family trips!

Real opportunities to explore.

An exceptional company.
They have certainly found a niche market for 'adventure tourism'. All the staff were amazing, very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The meals were good and you were never over faced with a huge plate of food. The daily activities were suitable for all ages (we are 75 & 72) and were entirely optional. An open bar all day was a very welcome addition. The crew organized something every evening, a talk, a quiz etc so you were never bored. We went on the Safari Endeavour and were lucky to only have 48 on board.

Fabulous Alaska experience.
Our cruise had everything we wanted. We were on the small Safari Quest ship with just 18 passengers traveling from Juneau. We saw lots of wildlife up close, including bears, whales, eagles, otters, sea lions, and puffins, and the views of the glaciers and mountains were incredible. We had daily “excursions” on foot, in kayak, or on a skiff that were excellent. The itinerary was flexible - if we came upon something interesting, such as a pod of whales, we would spend extra time watching them. And excursions could be adapted as appropriate.

When my travel agent invited us to join her on an UnCruise adventure in Alaska, I was a little skeptical as we had already been to Alaska twice, and did we really need to go again? The answer was YES! We loved our experience in Glacier Bay National Park. Our daughter went kayaking - our friends went bushwaking - we walked in an ice garden - we spent time on a disappearing island and were up close and personal with a calving glacier and a bear. The fact is I could write a novel on our amazing experience.

I can’t recommend UnCruise highly enough! Our Alaska Inside Passage cruise exceeded our highest expectations. I hardly know where to begin! The boat, Safari Quest, was beautiful, every inch in perfect condition. The crew were fantastic - cheerful, relaxed, on top of everything. To every request they answered “Sure!” and responded immediately. They knew our names the first day and how we liked our drinks the second. It felt as though they cared about each of us individually and wanted to do everything they could to be sure we had a fantastic time. Boy were they successful!
