Mexico Sea of Cortez Coronavirus Updates and Protocols
We are pleased to say that vaccination rates in Baja Sur and we will be returning to the Sea of Cortes in January. All crew and guests must be vaccinated. Guests must also provide documentation of a negative molecular COVID-19 test taken within 3 days of embarkation. Test Wednesday or later for a Saturday cruise departure. Requirements may change between now and your cruise departure. Stay up to date on our COVID-19 protocols.
San Jose del Cabo Hospitality Information:
Transfer from San Jose del Cabo Airport to Hospitality: After you pick up your luggage and pass through customs, exit the terminal where it says Ground Transportation / Taxis / Bus. Once outside, please look for our representative who will be holding an UnCruise Adventures sign.

After Hours: 907-957-3501.IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are arriving prior to embarkation day and have requested to join the day-of-embarkation transfer after returning a rental car/other, a member of the UnCruise Adventures team will notify you approximately 7 days prior to embarkation of your scheduled transfer time and meeting location at the airport.
Please note: due to Mexico tourism regulations we are unable to accept non-flight arrival transfer requests/changes less than 14 days prior to embarkation day.
Luggage: Please have your luggage checked in with the representative in the hospitality area by 3:00 p.m.
Transfer to La Paz: You need to be back in the hospitality area NO LATER than 3:45 p.m. for the included group sightseeing and orientation transfer to the Safari Voyager.

COVID Testing and U.S. Re-entry Requirements:
UnCruise Adventures provides complimentary antigen (saliva) testing for U.S. re-entry requirements and is included in the cost of your adventure.
Testing will be done on Friday in La Paz with a private provider and you will receive your results shortly after by email with an additional option for a hard copy of your test results.
Tests are available for guests with confirmed departing flights Saturday or Sunday. If another date, guests can make their own reservations in San Jose del Cabo or Loreto to secure testing. See COVID FAQ's for additional testing options on your own.
Guests will be required to provide a name and date of birth and the lab will provide a QR code for guests to pre-register for the antigen testing.
Guests are advised to bring a cell phone with access to their email, OR choose to opt for a hard copy of test results.
If a positive test result is received test for your re-entry testing, it is likely you will not be able to return to the vessel and will need to be prepared to work with our 3rd party medical advisor and your own at home physician to make independent arrangements. This includes quarantine for 10 days, per CDC guidelines before allowed to travel home. Any quarantine or related expense is the responsibility of the guest and at your own expense.
Travel insurance is highly recommended.
